How do I register for a Certified Food Protection Manager training program (class and examination)?

Students must register at least 48 hours before class begins.

$150. per person (when sending 2 or more people to a class - Save $10. per student) includes training, book and certification exam.

Will the LEAD Consultancy come to my establishment to provide training to my staff or for a group training event?
YES.  The LEAD Consultancy will make special arrangements, by appointment, for training and proctored examination upon request.
 
Monmouth and Ocean County, NJ:  Special session for groups of 2 or more.  All other parts of New Jersey: A Special Session is for groups of 4 or more. 

You provide a quiet training room, tables and chairs.  ServSafe Manager $225. per student.  NRFSP Food Safety Manager $225. per student. 

The Lead Consultancy will also provide training programs in New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland upon request when 10 or more students will be in attendance.  $225. per student for either ServSafe or NRFSP program.  Up to 8 hours of training prior to the exam.  Contact 732-759-1465 for further information.

I want to study at home before the class.  What is the cost to mail the Food Protection Manager student training manual to my house or job address?

Is the training only in English? 
Yes, the training is in English. 
However, training may be provided in other languages dependant upon class size, language request and instructor availability. This would be considered a "special session" provided by appointment at an agreed upon date and time.  Contact LEAD Consultancy, LLC for further information.



The examination is provided in English.  Is the exam available in other languages? 
Yes, all exams are provided in English.  Examinations in other languages will also include the English version of each exam question. 

NRFSP Examination languages include: English, Spanish, and Chinese

ServSafe Examination Languages include: English, Spanish and Chinese.


Should I bring my book to class if I received it in advance?
Yes, your student manual is used as part of the classroom training.  ServSafe manuals may include an exam answer sheet.  You must have your student manual and exam answer sheet with you in class.  If you lose, tear, or forget to bring your answer sheet with you for your exam, you will be charged an additional fee of $125.  This only applies to students who receive ServSafe books that are shipped in advance of class.


What happens when I pass my Food Protection Manager certification examination?

ServSafe: You will be able to check your exam results online within 1-2 weeks after the exam by creating an account at ServSafe.com.   Your certification can be printed from this website as many times as you like.

NRFSP: A confirmation email will sent to the student in about 2 weeks to indicate exam results and what to do next.  You must supply a valid email  address.  Also, don't to forget to check your Spam/ Junk email folder just in case your results by email get directed there instead of your Inbox.  


What score to I need to get to pass the Food Protection Manager exam?

My Food Protection Manager certification is valid for how long?

What happens if my Certification is misprinted, or lost?
You may contact LEAD Consultancy and order a replacement certification for $29.00


What happens if I fail my Food Protection Manager certification examination?
If you would like to take the training class and the exam again, you may do so. 
If you would like to take only the exam only again, you may do so.
You must register by phone or send a completed registration form in advance of a class or exam.
 
We strongly recommend that you study the student manual before retaking the exam.


How much does it cost to take or re-take the  exam?
$125.
 


Is there an additional fee if my payment for training does not clear (bounces)?
Yes.  Payment in full plus a $35. fee for reprocessing a bounced check must be received, and clear prior to the release of Certificates or exam results.  Payments that do not clear will delay receipt of your certification.


What happens if I can't make it to my class?
You must contact LEAD Consultancy regarding your situation not less than 48 hours in advance of a training class and/ or exam.  In cases of true emergencies, you will be moved to the next regularly scheduled class.  Otherwise, refunds are not issued.


Misdirected mail; I didn't receive an email; communication problems
It is the student's responsibility to provide clear, correct information to the LEAD Consultancy, LLC in order to ensure that you receive books and documents by mail, emails, phone calls etc.  The LEAD Consultancy, LLC is not responsible for misdirected mail, email or or other communication breakdown due to deficient or unclear information provided by the student.  Thanks in advance for helping us to help you!
