LEAD Consultancy, LLC



Established in 2007, the LEAD Consultancy began promoting “Training Today to Meet the Challenges of Tomorrow”.  The LEAD Consultancy is dedicated to providing professional certification training for people who are the leaders in their businesses or for persons who wish to lead.  


The Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) program is designed for food establishment owners, managers, cooks, food service directors, chefs, and staff.   It is created for the person-in-charge to understand their role in establishment food safety and it is a great program for students breaking into the food service industry to show prospective employers that they are properly trained.   The program incorporates one day of classroom training followed by a national certification exam.  This certification is recommended for Risk II retail food establishments and required for Risk III retail food establishments under the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services food code, also known as Chapter 24 (N.J.A.C. 8:24) “Sanitation in Retail Food Establishments and Food and Beverage Vending Machines”.  A certification is issued to the candidate who successfully passes the examination.  This certification is valid for 5 years and is accepted by all New Jersey Health Departments and it is required in other states and jurisdictions in the
United States.

ATTENTION:
The New Jersey Cottage Food Operator bill is expected to be come law this year (2020) and it requires the applicants to obtain a Food Protection Manager certificate.

NOTE:  The New Jersey Food Code (Chapter 24) is expected to change in the near future to require "heat and serve" (Risk II) food establishments (selling foods such as hamburgers) to have a Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) on staff and  one CFPM for each shift in (Risk III) food establishments that do any complex food preparation (cooking/ cooling/ re-heating).

 

The  ServSafe® Food Manager program is administered by a Certified ServSafe Instructor & Registered ServSafe Examination proctor.

The National Registry of Food Safety Professionals (NRFSP) Food Safety Manager program is provided by an approved NRFSP Administrator.

 Certification training programs are offered monthly at our convenient Eatontown, NJ training location or we can bring them to you, by appointment.
